The Tuckahoe Elementary Home and Garden Tour is the primary annual fundraiser to support the Tuckahoe Elementary Discovery Schoolyard, the award-winning outdoor learning program at Tuckahoe. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, tour homeowners and sponsors, the 2011 Home and Garden Tour raised a net of over $7100 to support the Discovery Schoolyard. We hope to make 2012 the best year yet!

Each year, this self-guided tour begins at Tuckahoe Elementary and continues through the Arlington community, showcasing up to 8 newly-renovated homes and as many as 3 beautiful gardens. Homeowners, design/build professionals, landscape professionals, families and friends make this event a yearly destination to gather ideas and inspiration for all kinds of home improvement projects. Home styles may include craftsman, split-level, colonial, bungalows and contemporary. For reference during the tour, the event program contains details on the goals, challenges and solutions unique to each home or garden project.
